Q: I forgot my username/password. How do I get it?
A: Your
username is the email that you registered with. To get your password click on
“Forgot your password” under the log in screen. Enter the email address you
registered under and then click “Email Password”. Your password will be mailed
to you.
Q: How do I change my email address?
A: On the main log-in
page the link to your registration information including email is right below
your log-in status. “Click here to update your registration information.” Under
“Login Information” there is a link to change your email address.
Q: How do I reset my password?
A: On the main log-in page
the link to your registration information including password is right below your
log-in status. “Click here to update your registration information.” Under
“Login Information” there is a link to change your password?
Q: How do I edit my contact information?
A: On the main log-in page the link to your registration
information including contact information is right below your log-in status.
“Click here to update your registration information.” The contact information
fields may be edited.
Q: Is my contact information protected from third parties?
A: GSJ will not disclose to any third party your name, address,
email address or telephone number without your consent, with the exception to
comply with applicable laws.
Q: How do I cancel my account?
A: Please email us at
support@governmentsupportjobs.com and request that your account be
cancelled.

Finding Jobs
Q: How do I get matched up with jobs?
A: By creating one
or more profiles your skills, education, certifications, experience and
clearance information are matched and scored with our intelligent correlation
technology against employer requirements thus giving them pertinent profiles to
review. An employer who has joined GSJ will have the benefit of this service to
ensure he gets the most qualified individuals.
Q: How can I improve my opportunities?
A: Make sure your
profile is filled out with all of your relevant experience.

Key Personnel
Q: What are Key Personnel? How does it affect my job search?
A:
Key personnel positions generally require senior technical, management
or professional candidates with significant experience and proven performance
records in their field of expertise. Advanced degrees are often desired. Key
personnel candidates are highly sought after by Government contractors during
contract competitions.

Posting a Resume
Q: How do I post a resume on GSJ?
A: You post your resume
by selecting your “Job Connection” and clicking the editing icon. Click
“continue” through the editable fields until you come to the “Update Resume”
screen. You can view, delete or upload your resume by browsing to the directory
containing your resume and uploading it.
Q: Who will see my resume?
A: Employers will be able to
view your resume and contact information.
Q: Can I be sure a blocked company won't see my resume?
A: GSJ cannot guarantee that a blocked company can always be
prevented from seeing your public resume.
In your “Job Connection” select edit and click through to the Set Profile
Skills. After clicking Continue you will go to as screen that will allow you to
name companies to be blocked.
Q: What if my security clearance is in process?
A: You may make notes on your resume advising of your status.

Troubleshooting
Q: I am having problems loading pages on the site?
A: Problems with page loading can be attributable to various
causes. The settings to investigate are cookie blocking, ad blocking and
blocking of referrer information. Many problems can be resolved by clearing out
your temporary files and cache.
