Job Description

Responsibilities: Advise the local Language Center Director on operational, facility, financial and logistical aspects of the Language Center. Coordinate with the Center for Language and Area Studies, Responsible Training Authority on budgetary / funding issues (to include research, execution, tracking and reporting of all expenditure documents). Provide assistance in analyzing and developing improved policies, plans, methods and procedures for the language center’s fulfillment of local and external language training requirements. Provide monthly reporting of metrics of on-site language training efforts. Collect, consolidate, and maintain data in support of strategic planning. Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual inventories for Government equipment and provide results to the Language Center Property Accountability Officer. Track and coordinate status of security vetting for local uncleared language instructors and other uncleared visitors at the language center.

Required Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) years of resource management experience; Experience with Microsoft Office Suites; Knowledge of Federal Government acquisition disciplines, budget, finance accounting, analysis and execution; Knowledge of DoD Planning Programming Budget Estimating (PPBE) system, Experience preparing reports that reflect programs/project status.

Required Education: Associate’s Degree in Education, Foreign Language, Area Studies, Intelligence Interpreting and Translating, Intelligence or directly related field – an additional two (2) years of directly related experience for a total of seven (7) years may be substituted).

Security Clearance: Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmental Information (TS/SCI) required.
