Our client has a Direct Placement opportunity for a Systems Architect / Systems Analyst (high-level designer of a system to be implemented) position. Their rapidly expanding Professional Services organization is looking to add an “A-List” Systems Architect / Systems Analyst to their team. This is a growth opportunity that affords the candidate the opportunity to contribute to the building and molding of an enterprise-class services organization. The Systems Architect / Systems Analyst Travel: 50% telecommute, 25% Reston office, 25% Customer sites (DC/VA). Travel includes Washington DC, Burlington VT & Dallas TX. Other travel requirements will be in play on future projects.

**Summary**
This is a Senior-level position. As the Professional Services group continues to grow, the Sr. Systems Architect will be looked upon to act in a practice management and leadership role and will also be responsible for managing many of their own engagements with customers. Their hands-on leadership style will foster teamwork, high expectations and drive peak performance. They will have a proven track record in the development of customer and partner relationships to achieve mutual goals and objectives. They will have a strong comfort level developing Systems CONOPS and in conducting business case analysis. Past experience will enable them to author system design documents, build test cases and procedures, identify training requirements and analyze pilot and testing results, Substantial background in meeting with customers to understand requirements, document and present designs, and fully configure systems to meet specifications and lead the transition of the system to Operations is required.

**Responsibilities**
• Provide analysis and engineering of the operational/functional aspects of software and hardware architectures and systems in support of COTS GOTS and Custom Application Systems Integration Projects.
o Conduct analysis of business processes and services to determine how people, processes, data, and technology can best accomplish the requirements of IT systems integration programs.
o Lead and provide direction for the architectural planning, system prototyping/pilot development, and/or investigations leading to the possible implementation of new technology onto the program.
• Perform in the role of mentor to provide guidance and training to less experienced analysts and project/program managers.
• Provide professional consulting, systems analysis/engineering, documentation (SDLC-level), conducting various meetings (such as requirements gathering/review sessions, documentation reviews, etc.) and other tasks as required contributing to the achievement of program performance.
• Provide guidance and share expertise in the following areas:
o Federal Government IT Security Strategies
o Certification & Accreditation Activities
o Law Enforcement Dispatch and Records Management Systems
o ERP Planning and Enterprise Financial Systems
o Process Management and Optimization/Reengineering

Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing systems integrator based in Irvine, California. Our client sells, implements, and supports mission critical data security, storage and server consolidation solutions to public sector agencies. The clients include federal, state and local government as well as education and healthcare.

Required Skills:
**Qualifications**
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer. Security Clearance will be needed - therefore, only US citizens can be considered.
• BS Degree or Equivalent Professional Experience as a Systems Architect and or Systems Analyst
• Background and experience with Business Process Re-Engineering
• Background and experience within the Federal Government Space
• MUST be “Process Savvy” in the Fed. Gov’t Space
• Background and experience in System Integration of COTS, GOTS and/or Complex Custom Applications
• Background and Experience in Project Management or Leading Engineering team through the full system lifecycle of complex Business Process Re-Engineering and System Integration Projects
