Job Description

Provide services to National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) primarily in the Washington, DC metropolitan and St. Louis areas, although support may be extended to NGA organizations globally.

Main tasks include: Enable the delivery of Information Technology services through the use of interdisciplinary approaches (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Logistics, and Physical Sciences). Responsible for the end-to-end systems engineering activities by performing strategic systems migration planning; capturing and translating mission and customer functional, performance, and support capabilities into requirements; allocating requirements to systems architecture components; developing the requests for change; and testing, validating, and deploying systems. System Engineers/Architects are responsible for ensuring the performance of configuration management activities; building and maintaining schedules; and the planning, research, development, and engineering of assigned projects/initiatives.

Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance is required.

Qualifications include:

•Bachelor’s (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Science, or related discipline) degree required; may substitute acquisition work experience or experience in a closely-related field that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the tasks associated with this work.
•System Engineering experience.
•Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
•Understanding of NGA’s mission and the broader mission of the Intelligence Community.
•Ability to work independently with excellent problem solving skills.
•High level of organization, attention to detail and follow-through.
