Job Description
The Solaris Administrator is responsible for the optimization of systems functionality, diagnosis complex performance issues and facilitates recovery of failed systems in accordance with customer Service Level Agreements. The Solaris Administrator performs System, Operational, Functional and Integration testing and manages the installation of software and hardware, systems fixes, updates and enhancements to the testing and production operating environments.
In addition, the Solaris Administrator implements systems diagnostic and maintenance tools to ensure the availability and functionality of systems required to support organizational objectives in addition to assessing server performance, availability, capacity or configuration problems. Other responsibilities include trouble shooting, problem solving, server outage resolution, on-site touch, server patching, server monitoring and adhere to all change/problem management systems.
Recommends, develops and implements corrective actions. Also works closely with management to schedule change activities and ensure seamless implementation of scheduled component, system, and service affecting changes.
Strong candidates should be capable of supporting a project with an ongoing scope so that the organization’s dynamic goals and objectives are satisfied.
Minimum Requirements
- Education : High School Diploma
- Experience : 10 years - Information Technology Services

- Skill : Expert in Attention to Detail

- Clearance : Top Secret SCI clearance, active within the last two years
